Fans call me the "Signing Oprah," but few realize I started years ago by hosting fun events, at businesses that sold products the Deaf wanted to sample and buy, "Deaf Beauty Day" was a hit and "Understanding Money" was great too! Everyone loved the games, original videos, I produced, and the giveaways. I never thought I would become an award-winning TV producer, brand ambassador or a Talk Show host! I just wanted the Deaf to have equal access to products, services and amenities.

In 2022, we opened Deaf Welcome Studios in Fox Valley Mall and discovered a multilingual Deaf population, of all ages, from many different countries. Deaf Movie Night was a great, but Deaf visitors wanted and needed more. Many Deaf were college educated but needed specialized training to join Deaf Welcome TV.  So, to build character and provide regular fellowship and encouragement, Deaf Welcome Ministries began worship services. We also launched Deaf Welcome Home Care to provide home health services, support local agencies, and provide respite care for families and caregivers.

It's been AMAZING to see Deaf Welcome expand to support the Deaf in such deeply personal ways! In the meantime, our producers and content creators are working hard, behind the scenes, to relaunch the bedrock of our success, Deaf Welcome TV!
